Welcome to the Manor Tavern
Two great teams of restaurant owners and operators, An Poitin Still's Dr. William and Dr. John Mitcherling, and hospitality leaders Patrick Russell and Bill Irvin along with Baltimore businessman Jim Franzoni have come together to restore the greatness of the legendary Manor Tavern in Monkton, Maryland.
The Manor Tavern is the newest restaurant spearheaded by hospitality leaders Bill Irvin & Patrick Russell. Situated in the heart of Maryland’s horse country ‘The Tavern’, as many of our local patrons refer to us as, is a favorite gathering place for friends and families to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, superior service and meals that are flavorful from beginning to end.
The traditional American inspired kitchen will be rooted at a local level to highlight our area growers and purveyors ensuring the freshest produce, meat, fish and chicken are of the highest standard. The full service tavern will feature unique craft beers, as well as a vast selection of fine wines, spirits, hand crafted cocktails, coffees and teas sourced from artisan producers. The highlight of the property will be the opportunity to manage our own gardens located on the property. Catering Services provides exquisite one-stop event planning. From passed hors d'oeuvres to a seated dinner, the Manor Tavern can provide everything you need to have the most enjoyable and memorable event.
Full completion of the Manor Tavern’s renovations (including décor enhancement, creation of gardens on property and new locally sourced menus) is scheduled for the end of 2011. The Manor tavern will remain open full time during renovations, opening daily for lunch and dinner.
